RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024:

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, has announced the Act Apprentice Recruitment 2024. The Northern Railway is inviting applications for the recruitment of 4096 Act Apprentice posts for the year 2024. ONLINE applications are invited from ELIGIBLE and desirous candidates for engagement of Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for imparting training at various Divisions/Units/Workshops over Northern Railway. This recruitment drive aims to fill a significant number of vacancies, providing a great chance for aspiring candidates to join the prestigious Indian Railways.

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details:

The recruitment drive aims to fill 4096 Apprentice posts across various trades. Details are given below table:

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have passed SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• The candidate must have also passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.

RRC Northern Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

• Selection of Act Apprentices is to be made based on merit prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation/SSC/10th (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) & ITI examination giving equal weight age to both.
• In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate having older age shall be preferred. In case of the Date of Birth are also same, then the candidate who passed matriculation exam earlier shall be considered first.
• A final merit list will be prepared cluster, trade wise and community wise, equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in SSC/Matriculation/10th & ITI.

• Minimum Age Limit: 15 Years
• Maximum Age Limit: 24 Years
