RRC SECR Apprentices Recruitment 2025

The Railway Recruitment Cell, South East Central Railway (RRC SECR), has announced the much-awaited RRC SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2025. This recruitment drive presents an excellent opportunity for aspiring candidates to join the Indian Railways’ apprenticeship program. A total of 1,007 apprentice positions will be filled across various divisions of SECR. These positions are open to both male and female candidates, offering a chance for individuals eager to build a career in the railway sector.

Interested candidates can apply online for these positions starting April 5, 2025. The deadline for application submission is May 4, 2025. The recruitment process will be entirely merit-based, and no application fees are required for any category.

Eligibility Criteria

The applicants must have Class 10 (Matric) with 50% marks, in aggregate, from a recognized Board. OR they must have passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT, recognized by the Government of India.

The age limit set for the candidates is between 15 years of age and should not be above 24 years of age as on 04 May, 2025.

Selection Process

The candidates will be selected based on the merit list and document/certificate verification. The merit list will be made as per the percentage of marks obtained by the applicants in both Matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both.
