OSSSC Teacher Recruitment 2024:

The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced a recruitment notification for over 2,629 teaching positions across various categories. Candidates who meet the required eligibility criteria for any of these positions are encouraged to apply. Candidates must check their eligibility i.e. educational qualification, age limit, experience etc. The submission of the online application form starts on 10 September 2024 and ends on 05 October 2024. OSSSC Teacher Recruitment 2024 Educational Qualification:

1. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)- Science (PCM / CBZ): The candidate must have at least Bachelor’s Degree in Science / B. Tech / B.E. with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso here under) from a recognized university having minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) / 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized Institution.
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) – Arts: The candidate must have at least Bachelor’s Degree in Arts / Commerce or a Shastri (Sanskrit) Degree from a recognized university with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso here under) from a recognized university having minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) / 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from any NCTE recognized Institution.
3. Hindi Teacher: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the Electives / Optional / Pass / Honours subjects with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates with one of the following qualifications.
4. Sanskrit Teacher: The candidate must have at least Bachelor’s Degree with Sanskrit as one of the Electives / optional / Honours / Pass subjects from a recognized university with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and Shiksha Shastri (Sanskrit) a course prescribed by NCTE, from a recognized University / Institution.
5. Physical Education Teacher: +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% for candidates other than SEBC / SC / ST / PWD / Sportsperson / Ex-Servicemen candidates and C.P.Ed. / B.P.Ed. / M.P. Ed from a recognized Board / University.
6. Sevak / Sevika: The candidate must have passed +2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with C.T. / D.I.E.T. training and Odisha Teacher eligibility Test (OTET) pass.
7. Tribal Language Teacher: The Candidates must have passed the +2 Arts / Science / Commerce or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution with C.T. / D.I.E.T. training and Odisha Teacher eligibility Test (OTET) pass and have proficiency in the Tribal Language for which he / she is applying.

OSSSC Teacher Recruitment 2024 Age Limit:

1. Minimum Age of the Candidates: 21 Years
2. Maximum Age of the Candidates: 38 Years
